Unable to upgrade from office 2003 to office 2010
I had MS Office 2003 before and now I decided to upgrade it to MS office 2010. I had installed it on my desktop. But while installing I ignored that I should uninstall MS office 03 first. After the reboot I started getting an error about MS Office Pro11.msi.After that I thought of uninstalling the MS Office 03 but that was not possible for me. Also I thought that I should re install the MS office 2003.But even that was not possible as I didn’t had the disk to reinstall it.MS office came up installed on the PC. So can anyone give me any solution on what to do now?

I think that the solution to your problem is simple. You just need to reinstall the MS office 2010.What you need to do is that you should begin with the un installation process of MS Office 2010.Once you uninstall the MS Office 2010 you just need to re install it using the same procedure as you had used earlier. Also you need to uninstall the MS Office 2003. I am sure that this will help you to solve your problem. Actually you need to un install the MS Office 2003 first before installing MS Office 2010.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I had a look at your solution that you have provided me and I started working on it. I started with the process of un installation first. Once the un installation process was completed I then started with the process of reinstallation. So up to here everything was fine. But I again stuck at the un installation process of MS Office 2003.So I would like you to help me in elaborating few methods on how to uninstall Office 2003.Plaese do reply to this query.

You need to first uninstall the MS Office 2003 first before installing MS Office 2010.Now I will guide you on how to uninstall the MS Office 2003. You can start it by downloading software called as Revo Uninstaller .You need to then install this software and then run it. Now once you run it you can then remove the MS Office which you don’t want. You can also use the Advance option in this. If all is successful then it will ask you to reboot. But don’t use that option and say no. These steps should be followed by clicking the next to begin looking for leftover items. Check those items which are to be deleted. This will surely first uninstall the MS Office 2003.After that reinstall Office 2010 and see if the problem is resolved.

I hope that finally my problem is solved. I started with the process of downloading the software called as Revo Uninstaller. After that I installed it which was followed by running the software. Here I took the advance option to uninstall the MS Office 2003.Then I started by clicking on next to begin looking for leftover items. Here I checked the MS Office 2003.And after that the MS Office 2003 got un installed. For this I would like to thank you for the solution that you provide me to get rid of the problem that I was facing.
