I think over here that there may be some trouble along with the registration of the components of your computer and that is why you are getting problems like this. There is a way by which we can solve the problem. You have to use the software registry repair. So the search for the configuration of the Internet and implement it on your computer. This will fix all the corrupted registry of your computer. I'm not saying this will solve the issue of likely safe, but they are still there that the issue will be resolved. I wish this will help.

I think you have to install the Norton security software on your computer. I say this because I also had the same problem when you have Norton security software installed on my computer. Norton is possible that the blends that are using the Exchange server and that is why you are trying to protect some things that are not there. So you can try temporarily disabling your antivirus and then open Outlook again. If the problem is caused by Norton antivirus, you do not have the problem after doing this. So just give it a try and check the results.

You should check for hidden files and folders are visible or not. They should be established at the point of view. If you do, then you have to open the Windows browser and select Tools from the menu bar and select the Folder option from there. This will open a new window with many tabs. Select the View tab. You will be one of the buttons on the radio as "View hidden files and folders." You have to select this button and then click Apply and OK. This will apply the settings and after that you will be able to open it without any problem.

I think over here that it is happening because of the issue in to the outlook that is installed on your computer. Some of the files those are missing or get damaged. And that is why you facing like this kind of issue. So my suggestion to you is you have to uninstall the currently installed Microsoft Office on your computer and after installing again. This time you should download the installation program and install Internet fresh in the new configuration. This is because if there is any problem with the configuration file then you will get the issue again. So to avoid this problem, you should have to install it from a fresh copy of the installation.

F8 key not working to boot in Safe Mode

F8 key not working to boot in Safe Mode
Recently I have started to get the little pop-up messages in my PC. So I thought that I have got some kind of malware on my system. When I get these pop-ups I can’t access anything in terms f running programs. I can access the administrative tools but when I tried to open something nothing happened. So later on I thought that I need to run it in safe mode to clean things. So while I was trying to work it in safe mode the F8 button just doesn’t work. Obviously I will need F8 to work to get into the safe mode. So please can anyone help me out on this issue. Give me some solutions for it.

Looking at your problem I feel that you must be probably having some problem with the keyboard that you might be using. I think that you just need to check your connections first to see whether it is properly plugged in or not. Also you can use some another keyboard and check if the F8 key is working properly over there or not. If it is working properly then you must surely be having the problem with your keyboard. You can check out with this options and I think it will help you to solve your problem.

Re: F8 key not working to boot in Safe Mode
Thank you for the solution that you provided but I have tried it before. The keyboard that I am using is a USB keyboard. I've plugged it into all of the USB ports directly on the motherboard. I have also tried it by changing the keyboard. I got another keyboard and it didn’t work with it as well. I don't have access to a PS2 keyboard or I would have even tried that. There is one more thing which is a bit strange and that is while in SETUP, the F9 key works fine. Are there any menus or options in SETUP to allow me to use the F8 key to see if it works in SETUP?

Re: F8 key not working to boot in Safe Mode
While booting you will notice that it will show an error for the floppy drive. This is because it couldn't read the floppy and here the booting sequence stops. This is the reason which is not allowing you to work the F8 button. So what you need to do is you need to go to setup and then disable the check on the floppy drive and remove the floppy from the boot sequence. This will allow the machine to continue its initial sequence of booting up and won’t stop due to errors. This will surely help you to fix your query without any problem. And after this your F8 key will work perfectly.

Re: F8 key not working to boot in Safe Mode
I have worked on this solution that you had provided me and it has helped me. I did follow the same thing that have mentioned in the solution. Previously I had noticed for a while that it shows an error for the floppy drive during the boot sequence. But I never thought about it in the past and just hit the F1 key to continue and allow the windows to boot. But this time I was very aware of it. Now my F8 button works perfectly along with the other keys while working in Safe Mode. So thank you for providing me with the solution.

After a re-boot I am asked to install Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard in Windows

After a re-boot I am asked to install Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard in Windows
I have a Sony VAIO with a Windows XP Professional operating system on it. Every time I reboot, a window comes up and it says that I should install a driver for the Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard. It says that I should put in the appropriate CD or find the file that contains that driver. I don't know what the Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard is, or why it should need to be installed on my PC. Does anyone know the solution for this? Or can anyone tell me the use of Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard.

Re: After a re-boot I am asked to install Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard in Windows
I had a look at your problem and I need to know the type of keyboard you are using. Do you have a wireless keyboard or a wired keyboard? Is it working fine or is it giving some problem. If it is giving some problem then there must be some issues with the keyboard itself. Now the next time if you see a pop-up then you just need to do a simple thing. You check if there is a check box near that pop-up. If there is a checkbox present that says something like don’t prompt me to install this again then check it immediately. This will surely help you to fix your problem.

Re: After a re-boot I am asked to install Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard in Windows
Thank you for your reply. I use the Sony VAIO keyboard that came with the system itself and it is working perfectly fine. Also talking about the checkbox I don’t remember that there is a ‘don't prompt me to install this again’ type checkbox present. I think that if it comes I would have checked it a long time back. But the next time when I’ll re-boot I will surely check for it. And if it is present then I will uncheck it. So I'll be sure to look for it next time that I reboot.

Re: After a re-boot I am asked to install Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard in Windows
I have checked out for solution to your problem and I feel that it's probably a gaming application, but one that isn't actually a Microsoft product. It obviously isn't working and hence it is unnecessary to do anything with it. If you are using your keyboard to larger extent to play the games then you just need to decrease it a bit. It’s a kind of pop –up that will not hurt you more and won’t do any harm to your PC. Also I am very sure that it has nothing to do with the viruses’ .So you can just ignore the pop-up that tells you to install the Microsoft eHome MCIR 109 Keyboard.
