Windows 7 do not show Msn video player and sky player on media center edition.
I have bought the new system at mine home and I have installed windows 7 on mine system and i have installed fresh copy. I have also installed the different application like media center, msn video player and sky player etc. but from last 3 days I have issue on mine system, Msn video player and sky Msn not appear in the TV menu in Windows 7 Media Center. To solve this issue I have tried to create the new user and I have also tried several things but after that also i didn’t solved mine issue. Is there anyone to solve this issue?

I would like suggest you to follow the steps below so that you can solve your issue. To do this follow the steps below, first open the media center on your system and under the media center click on the tasks and then select the settings. Now under the setting go to the general and then make hit on automatic download option and after that make select on the download now. Wait till the end of downloading and after that make hit on the finish. I hope this could help you lot in solving the issue.

According to me you need to check the region setting on windows so that you can solve your issue, to do this follow the steps below. First make click on the start icon on the desktop then go to the control panel and then select the clock, language and region. Now under clock language and region go to the location tab and then make sure that your selected UK. After that go to the administrative tab and make confirm that you set the UK language, if you don’t done this you have to make the UK language. I hope this could help you lot.

Hello thanks for replying, i have gone through your suggestion and i have followed your steps as given in the thread but it doesn’t work. I have made every change in the clock, language and region but it doesn’t help me to solve the issue. And i have also tried the first solution as well and the result is same. I have tried your suggestion several times but it didn’t given the good result. Now I don’t know what to do, please is there anyone to solve this issue, so that i can solve mine issue.

I would like to advise you reinstall the media center so that you can solve your issue. To do this follows the step below: make hit on the start and then go to the control panel. Under the control panel go to the program and then select the programs and features. Now on the programs and features make check on the click Turn Windows features on or off. And after that go to the media group, make unchecked on the Windows Media Center check box and after that hit enter. When you complete all this, now you need to restart your system and then follow the same steps above and here you need to make check mark on the Windows Media Center check box, so that you can reinstall. I hope this could help you lot more.

I have the same problem and have done steps advised with no sucess,now i am talking about my main pc but my laptop has the same install of windows 7 ultimate and msn and sky player show up on it.
The laptop install of windows 7 was done a couple of months before my pc which is the only difference i can tell in the two installs

I too was facing this problem long back... but fortunately fixed it myself. What i did was much similar to the solution given by Eric B. Did you tried that on your desktop PC with windows 7 ? If not try out, hope it should work . Its here:

already done that download,it always tells me that the download didnt complete and to go to the icon on the task bar and right click to find the download log but there is no log when i do this ,if anyone could tell me were to find the log it would be helpful
