Just go through the following procedure and see if this solves the problem for you. First of all, you will have to go to metro start screen and then right click on the blank area and then click on the all programs. After this, right click on the Windows Live Mesh icon and from the bottom, select OPEN FILE LOCATION folder icon. Right click on Windows Live Mesh shortcut from new file explorer window and then copy that. Now go to "C: > ProgramData > Microsoft > Windows > Start Menu > Programs > Startup" and there paste the Windows Live Mesh shortcut. When you do that then you will find that the mess will start all the times you start the Windows 8.

Windows Live Mesh is a free cross-platform (Windows and MacOS X) of Microsoft Live. It easily allows to synchronize folders and files between computers but also with your storage space online Skydrive (limited to 5 GB free service comes with a Live / Hotmail).

The service was possible to synchronize files between PCs. The software was renamed Windows Live Sync and later came Windows Live Mesh out that besides synchronizing files and folders very limited settings could synchronize (Internet Explorer favorites and Office styles) and it contained some remote desktop functionality, but that was it. However, now with Windows 8 plays, you can do the synchronization between PCs much more. It is standard, although still not possible to synchronize folders, therefore you (probably still) required for Windows Live Mesh, but there are quite a few synchronization option added.

In the Metro Control Panel, you can configure it to synchronize. There is a list as accessibility settings, language settings, theme settings (including the Lock), browser settings, passwords and history, and apps settings.

With the "Windows Live Mesh" You can also build your own small P2P network. Enter any folder on your computer and you can share files with your friends, between work and home or on your second PC and that is also protected by a password. Files can be shared, photo galleries will be synchronized with each other. "Windows Live Mesh" is therefore suitable for shared folders with friends or acquaintances to keep synced.

If you want to make use of the "Windows Live Mesh" then this is very important to have the free Live ID from Microsoft otherwise you will not be able to use that.

Windows Live Mesh is the service that powers the synchronization of files, folders and other limited settings through your PC. With Windows 8, this feature will be integrated directly into the operating system, and will be powered by Windows Live SkyDrive. Instead of just files and folders, hours will expand to all applications, content and settings of Windows 8.

The 5GB free Live Mesh offering have been reduced to 2GB WL Sync. No payments for more storage. instead of adding support for other platforms, it has removed support for Windows Mobile and Windows XP (we cannot synchronize files with the most used OS in the world.

Microsoft is also working on apps for Windows Phone, iOS, Mac and Android. However, what is unclear is whether there are desktop apps from Windows Live available for Windows 8.
