Need File association to run with the user account
Hello friends I have been in a awful situation from quite some time now as I am not getting a application to load through the normal user account. The problem is that I have got a application that requires a driver to run, I can get the application to install and use the driver with it smoothly when I log in as an administrator, but the problem is that when I log in as an normal user the application runs but the driver does not load, so with this there is a certainty that the parts that does not require the drivers only work. Can someone suggest ways with which I can make application and all its file along with the driver to run through the normal user.

Well the only thing that you can do is that you will have to slog in as an administrator and from there you will have to give all the rights to the normal user as well and then see if you can make the application of yours to work with the specific driver. This only happens when the user account does not have all the rights that are necessary to get the things to performed which the administrator, so you will have to change the permission of the user account from the administrator so that you can perform the same work from both the account.

Actually the responsibility of the program functioning cascade with the programmer that has been developed the applications. There are many of the applications that require administrator rights or could have been developed to run only under the administrator and no user account can make use of the same. This is the strategy that has been adopted by Microsoft and has been continuously asking the developers to do the same in order to enjoy the safe and secure system usage. So if you got the same application running on your system then I fear that it will ever function on the normal user account.

Hey dude you can do one thing that can help you enable the driver file in your user account as well, for this you will first have to keep the file sharing on and you will have to share the files that have been there located in the admin system and have to run the same when you are looking for running that application. So with this option in effect you will surely be able to get the driver file to load even if you try accessing through the user account. So with this solution I would think that the problem would be solved.

The consideration procedure is that applications and their connected components are controlled by varying user access level that is the admin or genuine user. The merely real differentiation between these levels is the permissions they include to perform things in the various folders and windows components. Also it can be that one can be the holder of the files that he want to open but on the same he cannot be the holder of the program files that is required to run the file which in your case is the driver for that applications. So I think that with this you will not be able to get the access to the driver file.

Guys I have tried almost all possible things in order to make this driver run through the normal user account but still I am unable to do so. I have tried changing the permission as well and then also when I open it in a user account only the application runs but the driver remains un-accessed. I have even tried downloading the driver again directly into the user account but then also the problem is far from solved. Can some one provide some other solution as well to get rid of this problem.

Hey what I think is that you might have kept the driver file in some other folder that must only be accessible to the administrator and which you as a normal user cannot access it. Since you are able to run the application but cannot run the associated driver then what I think is that you will have to move the driver file to the same folder that contains the application that you want to run and then see if you can make the driver run as well from that or not, I hope that this will surely solve the problem of yours.
